Erika Taylor, Founder

Born and raised in the vibrant neighborhood of Park Slope in Brooklyn, New York.  It is in this  neighborhood that my love for brownstones  (hence the name of the company) and the charm of the city flourished.  From a young age, I had a natural affinity for numbers, often enjoying playful cashier games with my older brother.  I pursued my passion for business  at SUNY  Binghamton, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business and earned my MBA at Fordham University.  My professional journey led me to esteemed corporations in New York City, including Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Chase, and Morgan Stanley. After choosing to step away from my career to raise my children, I reentered the finance world by actively serving as the on-site treasurer for their PTA.  Inspired, I established my own bookkeeping business and serviced various businesses and political campaigns even through the pandemic, honing my skills in unique environments. Now, with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, I am excited to assist you with all your bookkeeping needs, bringing my expertise and passion to every project.
